Common material for shutter tilt rods are: Vinyl/polysatin, Wood, or Composite Wood/Hybrid. Our tilt rod comes in 2 sizes: 24" or 36". Custom length is also available per your request.
Shutter Rods, AKA: Tilt Bars, are the vertical bars used to adjust louver positions. They control rotation of louvers in a coordinated manner for control of light, privacy, and ventilation.
- Front Tilt Bar is typically mounted in the center FRONT of louvers.
- Rear Tilt Rod can be mounted to the Right or Left edge on the BACK louvers.
- The best way to tilt the louvers is: Grab 1 louver and tilt. Avoid grabbing the Tilt Bar to tilt as it creates more stress on the staples or plastic connectors, hence faster wear & tear & breakage.
Our shutter rods are available in precut size of 24", 36", and 48". You can also order custom cut length.
