Sample pictures are old bifold shutters. Since the corners are loosen up, all louvers are falling aparts and cause adjacent panels to sag. If you prefer other color than zinc, just paint over the brackets with your desired color after repair.

Tension Screw Bushing for Plantation Shutter

• Plastic Tension Screw Bushing
• 3/8" outside diameter, 3/16" inside diameter
• 1/4" height

Tension Bushing supports tension screw in 1/4" pin hole. The flange of the bushing prevent the louvers from rubbing directly against the stile (when you tighten the tension screw). As a result, operation of louvers is smoother.

The bushing reduces the size of the pin hole to support & center the tension screw. A tension washer should be used in conjuntion of the bushing to allow the tension screw to rotate with louver and prevent it from backing off.
