We carry 3 common sizes of Cord Loop, they are different in thickness:
- D30 is the most common size, slimmest
- K35 is thicker than D30
- C30 is thicker than K35
If use the wrong thickness cord, the shade can still operate but not at optimum. Too thin, the clutch may not grab the cord well, so it may feel lightly "strip" sometimes. Too thick, the clutch may grab the cord tight, so it may feel lightly "hard" to lower & raise. For each of our clutch, the correct cord size is recommended in the product detail page.
If you only have a couple shades (duette, honeycomb, roman shade) to restring/record, your best choice are these 2 kits:
- Restring Kit 0.9mm, part #1544.
- Tassel & Condenser Kit, part # 8001, or 8002.
