If you plan to buy the bead chain to make bead loop, then buy a ... bead LOOP. Because it would last longer & operate smoother as there's NO connector to catch/jam at the clutch or the tensioner. Ready-made bead loop size are : 3ft, 4ft, 5ft, 6ft. Unless you need a loop longer than 6ft , then it makes sense to purchase the chain & make it into your desired length.
