Vertiglide is honeycomb shade in vertical position. The fabric is hung vertically & glide smoothly on the headrail rack. Pull the handle of travelling rail to open & close the shade. Powerview Operating option is also available on Vertiglide. Most popular cell size for Vertiglide is 3/4", with other available sizes: 3/8" and 1 1/4".
When ordering Vertiglide, please know ahead:
- If you want it: RIGHT Stacked, LEFT Stacked, or SPLIT Stacked. The stack normally stays on the opposite side of the moving door.
- Is there enough wall space for stacking? If not, some of the stack may overlap the glass portion (which obstruct some of your view). Most people are fine with that. Some insist that the stack must stay clear of the glass for maximum view. In that case, you need to order the shade 10"-15" wider to so all the fabric stacks on wall side.
Vertiglide is commonly used on Sliders and Patio Doors. Use honeycomb shades (Duette, Applause) on other windows in the same room to create a uniform, seamless look.
Veriglide also has Duolite option, half sheer, half fabric to maximize the view, filter sun rays, while maintain privacy behind the sheer.
